Aina & Aisya will join some 2,000 runners for The Book Run 2010 on Jan. 31, 5 a.m., at Bonifacio High Street in Taguig City.
The Book Run is organised by NATIONAL BOOK STORE PARTNERS and the YesPinoy Foundation (YPF) to solicits books for students and schools severely affected by recent calamities where they hope to help rebuild thousands of schools and help replace millions of books destroyed by the recent typhoons.
Estimates from the Department of Education (DepEd) placed damages to books to over P3 billion, representing close to three-million copies of books swept by floodwaters of typhoons “Ondoy” and “Pepeng.”
