Aina won the Anvaya Cove Invitational Triathlon and Aisya was no. 2. Aina able to complete the race despite she fell down in the tricky bend. Aisya led during the cycling leg yet unable to sustain her momentum during the running leg. Great job girls...

COMPLETED THE PAA-BILISAN ROAD RACE 2009

The run wave started at 8 am and the starting line was chaotic as the senior categories were flagged earlier. Aina ended at the 4th position and Aisya landed at the 7th position. There are runners out there that can outrun and outperform, learn from them. Train harder girls and enjoy the future races...

PAA-BILISAN ROAD RACE 2009

TriTeen Team will be participating in the Paa-Bilisan Road Race on November 22 2009. It is the 4th quarter edition of the series and offers 5K/10K/15KM/Street Mile Challenge

Venue:Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City
Date: November 22, 2009

We registered at ROX Bonifacio High Street, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City and pay PHP250 each. As the singlet size is too big for them, I end up with 2 more singlets in the closet. I must say the guy from Botak is pretty convincing in persuading us to participate.

Race packet includes a Runner’s Bib, Route Map, Race information sheet, safety pins and an Original BOTAK Singlet.

There will be medals for the top 3 winners in the age group categories. Street Mile Race winners in each division will be also be awarded with Spyder eyewear products.

The 10K (sub-29 minutes) and the 15KM (sub-43 minutes) winners who will set a new Philippine record gets double the prize-money and will be entitled for a sponsored trip to see action in one of the prestigious races abroad.

AINA WON BRONZE IN ASIA DUATHLON

Aina won Bronze during the 2009 Subic Asia Duathlon held at Subic Bay, Philippines in the female category 13-15 years old. Participants from Hong Kong won the 1st place and 2nd place. Participants were from various countries such as Syria, Norway, Philippines and Hong Kong. Results will be updated soon.

AINA'S FIRST INTERNATIONAL TRIATHLON

We are looking forward to go to Subic this weekend as Subic Bay was the place where Aina participated her first international triathlon. She has demonstrated an outstanding performance by securing the 2nd place, trailing 23 seconds behind the champion.

AINA & AISYA'S FIRST TRIATHLON

Their first triathlon was on Aina's birthday, 30thNovember 2008. The only thing that we knew about triathlon was it involves swim, bike and run. Fortunately, the organizer has conducted an amazing clinic led by Coach Steph one day before the race. Aina used my heavy and large frame roadbike. I changed the handlebar so she can reached it. She even didn't know how to change the speed! Aisya rode her small bicycle bought at Tesco. She just learned to ride the bicycle at that time. Aina ended at 4th place (enough to be on podium) and Aisya secured 12th place. khttp://www.trikidz.com.my/

ISM FALL SWIM MEET 2009

Aina & Aisya will be participating in the International School Manila Fall Swim Meet 2009 scheduled this coming saturday, 14th November 2009. Details of the event can be accessed at www.sailfish.ism-online.org

Saturday, December 5th

Aina is expected to swim 3000 meters or 120 laps and Aisya is expected to swim 2000 meters or 80 laps of 25m pool, in 1 hour.

Number of Laps: The expected kilometres or laps are an estimate of how many laps (25m) a swimmer will complete in the time allocated to them.

Swim: Beach swim

Bike: 3km hilly ride over paved road from the main clubhouse area to the main gate. Go out the main gate & turn left towards Morong to a turnaround point over another 2km of cement road & then back.

Run: From Transition onto smooth cart paths

2009 Subic Bay ASTC Asian Duathlon Championships

Aina will be participating in this event organized by TRAP and officiated by International Technical Officials under the supervision of ITU/ASTC.

Formerly the Philippine International Duathlon Open, the race is now designated
as the Asian Duathlon Championships (ADC 2009), which will crown the best
duathletes of the continent.

ADC 2009 features a new run course at the Subic Bay Gateway Park and a new event
venue at the Subic Bay Exhibition & Convention Center (SBECC).

Event Venue:
Start will be at the Subic Bay Event & Convention Center,
Subic Bay Gateway Park. The bike course will weave through the well paved roads of
Rizal Ave., Argonaut Hi-Way, & the Naval Magazine Area.

Youth Mini Sprint: (13~15) – 2.5k Run, 10k bike, 2.5k run (all 1 loop each)

2009 ITU ASIA PREMIUM CUP HONG KONG DISNEYLAND

It was a good event for Aina and Aisya as both have demonstrated perseverance and tenacity during the race.


Aina lost 5-10 minutes due to the loosen chain. She never learned how to fix it as the father is the one that always fix it during training. Lesson learrned, let the triteens learn during the process. Simple question,are you helping them today or for the future?

It was the first triathlon for Aisya that involve open water swimming. She was the last in swimming leg but managed to close the gap in cycling and running. Both of them secured 5th place and we look forward for 2010 ITU Premium Cup Hong Kong Disneyland.
